Joint Lysimeter Tracer Experiment

On April 17th we are very excited to launch a novel and very important experiment. We investigate the transport of labeled tracer compounds, dissolved in artificial rainwater, through the soil. Lysimeters are used to identify the seeped compounds. The data of the lysimeter tracer experiment will provide insights into the reactions, travel times, distribution and feedbacks of natural seepage consituents under various environmental conditions.
